Back-up your files with the JioCloud

Losing one’s data is a tragedy for anyone, and unfortunately, it’s a bit of a common occurrence. The best way to protect yourself from data loss is by having a back-up in an online cloud storage. This way, your files will still be intact even if your device is compromised. JioCloud is a productivity app offered by Reliance Industries. It is a cloud storage service that provides users with a reliable online storage space where they can upload, back-up, and share their files.

Storage and Back-up

JioCloud’s main function is as online storage. Users are provided with over 50 GB of free online storage space with the app’s “Refer and Earn” program. Additionally, users can earn even more storage space through various promotional events that happen every now and then. What’s great about JioCloud is that files aren’t the only thing it can back-up. It also creates a back-up of your contacts, so you won’t have to worry about losing any important contact information. If you do load back-up contacts to another device, JioCloud will be able to find duplicate contacts and merge them together

Users can set their device to auto back-up to prevent data loss in case they forgot to back-up manually. They also have the option of backing-up over mobile or Wi-Fi networks, thus reducing the chances of large data charges.

Sharing and Connectivity

Once you have your files backed-up in your JioCloud storage, accessing them is the next step. With the JioCloud, users will be able to access their files anytime, anywhere as long as they are connected online. Files can also be shared with other people using links rather than tediously uploading them individually. The person being shared the link to don’t have to be a user of JioCloud to access it.

Finally, just to add to its fun features, JioCloud also lets users stream music and videos, as well as create shared albums. With shared albums, users can organize their files to specific albums and add friends who might be interested in accessing them. The app’s streaming feature lets users view media files without having to download them to their device.

Back-up You Files

As long as you don’t back-up your files, you run the risk of losing them at any time. JioCloud is a stress-free way of making sure that your important files are secured. What’s even better is that you can access and share them easily anytime, anywhere.

In Softonic we scan all the files hosted on our platform to assess and avoid any potential harm for your device. Our team performs checks each time a new file is uploaded and periodically reviews files to confirm or update their status. This comprehensive process allows us to set a status for any downloadable file as follows:

Clean

It’s extremely likely that this software program is clean.

What does this mean?

We have scanned the file and URLs associated with this software program in more than 50 of the world's leading antivirus services; no possible threat has been detected.

Warning

This software program is potentially malicious or may contain unwanted bundled software.

Why is the software program still available?

Based on our scan system, we have determined that these flags are possibly false positives.

What is a false positive?

It means a benign program is wrongfully flagged as malicious due to an overly broad detection signature or algorithm used in an antivirus program.

We’d like to highlight that from time to time, we may miss a potentially malicious software program. To continue promising you a malware-free catalog of programs and apps, our team has integrated a Report Software feature in every catalog page that loops your feedback back to us.

Flag any particular issues you may encounter and Softonic will address those concerns as soon as possible.
